Agricultural Opportunities

Agriculture is an important part of the Goldfields, and to many of those who live here. To support those students interested in a career in agriculture, we own and operate Esperance SHS Farm Training Centre, a fully functional farm. Located 30km from the main school campus, our dedicated team of agricultural staff are here to provide students with hands-on, real-world experiences.

Our Farm Training Centre is equipped with extensive machinery, modern livestock management, and a wide range of cropping types. This allows us to mirror industry standards, giving students the opportunity to practice practical skills in livestock management, crop production, and general farm operations.

Specialised Agriculture Courses

Our agriculture students don’t just receive the usual Maths, English, Science, & Health (MESH) education. As part of our agricultural program, we offer specialised courses & certificates that complement core learning with practical, hands-on experiences. Our students can pursue nationally recognised qualifications or opt to participate in our workplace learning program, offering an opportunity to experience what they’re interested in.
