Pathways at ESHS

At Esperance Senior High School, we support every student’s unique journey by helping Year 10s choose one of three upper school pathways: ATAR, General, or VET.ATAR is for those aiming for university, offering an academic focus to prepare for higher education. General combines academic and practical courses for students considering further study, training, or entering the workforce. This section will provide you with the information you need to understand each pathway, how to choose the best one for you, and the opportunities available to you at ESHS. Let’s work together to find the pathway that aligns with your strengths and aspirations.
