Following yesterday’s assembly, I’m delighted to share with our broader school community the tremendous success of our students at this year’s Country Week competition. This annual multi-sport event, recognised as the biggest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, brings together senior high school students from across Western Australia for a week of friendly competition in Perth.

I want to commend all the students who represented our school. Your commitment to training and preparation set the foundation for this year’s success. I would also like to acknowledge the commitment of out staff for their hard work in preparing the students and managing the logistics of this significant event.
As we celebrate this year’s achievements, we’re also looking ahead. Our goal is to expand our participation in Country Week, aiming to send up to 11 teams and 135 students in 2025! This aligns with our broader post-COVID initiative to rebuild participation across all school activities and events.
Lastly, I’d like to congratulate our lower and middle school students who in semester one achieved an exceptional Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.7 of higher.
Our academic excellence recipients by year group:
Year 7, Marli Browning, Layla Bowkett, & Coby Guest.
Year 8, Libby Gurney, Kai Landers, Isabella Scott, Skye Waters.
Year 9, Taj Landers, Felix Pearn, Zander Shipp,
and Year 10, Ashley Gallop, & Calypso Shelton.
