The Australian Maths Competition contains unique problems designed each year by leading educators and academics to challenge and extend students’ problem-solving skills. The competition features carefully crafted questions that test mathematical thinking rather than just routine calculations, encouraging students to develop deeper analytical abilities.
The Maths Department has recently received the results from the Australian Maths Competition that was held in August. We had some fantastic results with many students receiving distinction and credits, demonstrating their strong mathematical capabilities and dedicated preparation.
